Stoner's fall! In the early fifth lap Stoner fell off the bike and out of the race! It is a misfortune for Stoner, who confirmed hollow points in the series premiere, the first moment before he had recorded the fastest lap. Rossi now leads the race with Hayden being followed.

On lap seven, Rossi was still followed by Hayden and Dovizioso. Lorenzo meanwhile was in position four and Pedrosa who started the race with slick now instead had slipped to fifth position.

Substitution of position again after Dovizioso passed Hayden on lap eight to be behind Rossi. Still another 14 laps remaining in this race.

Ben Spies and Randy de Puniet nudged into fifth and sixth position with 12 laps remaining. Consequently Pedrosa was increasingly pushed to the back in position seven. There has been no change in the position of the big four with formation Rossi, Dovizioso, Hayden and Lorenzo.

Half the race is lived, is becoming the leading three drivers from other drivers. Rossi, Dovizioso looked increasingly threatening the leadership race, even though Hayden is ready to find a gap behind him.

Doviziso! Almost alone he managed to find space to get past Rossi on lap 15 while The Doctor managed to close the gap in time. Heavy pressure for Rossi still come from Dovizioso and Hayden with seven laps remaining.
